Dr. Daby is an experienced surgeon who routinely removes impacted wisdom teeth, as well as other non-restorable teeth. Oral Conscious sedation or Nitrous Oxide Sedation are available to apprehensive patients. SURGICAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT is also offered. ADENTAL IMPLANT is a titanium post that is placed into the bone where teeth have been lost, giving a new anchor to place a denture or crown onto. With dental implants, a previously poor fitting denture or partial can have a solid attachment to snap onto, giving it a whole new feel and the ability to chew and talk. IMPLANT DENTISTRY is a relatively new to most people, despite having decades of clinical history in Europe and the United States. The surgery itself, although it sounds traumatic, is surprisingly easy and patients rarely have the discomfort associated with even a simple tooth extraction. Usually only ibuprofen or tylenol are necessary to control post-op pain, as opposed to tooth extraction which can sometimes require more potent pain relievers.
